Who doesn’t like sparkly shoes? Let’s keep it real!!!
Ever since I saw Cinderella when I was a kid, I fell in love with sparkle and sparkly shoes. The day had come when I could tick tak my sparkly high heels anytime I wish.
Last week, I visited our local Michael Kors store here in Ohio. The ladies were super friendly and helpful. I went in to purchase gold sneakers and to my surprise, sparkle was everywhere; heels, sneakers even wedges and flats. I was in heaven minus dogs and coffee. Long story short, the ladies allowed me to take pictures and videos, and I had to share with my followers ! You’re welcome!
@michael_kors_easton is offering up to 50% off online and additional 25% on particular items in the store. Prices we very reasonable actually, range was between $50-$100. The new purse collection was absolutely stunning as always.
Sparkly shoes can be tricky. Be certain before leaving home to look sexy, classy , comfy and stunning all at once. Back in the day, sparkly shoes were worn in evenings only but that’s not the case anymore. Luckily things have changed and we can sparkle away day and night ladies. If you ask me about wearing sparkly shoes to work or day time; I say yes, however, go with flats or heels and a nude purse always, as your sparkly shoes are a statement on their own. Go as simple as you could with your accessories and make up. If you choose to add a belt, let it match your shoes.
Casual is the season’s trend. Sparkly flats combined with jeans and simple T shirt and simple jacket, or just go with a casual solid color shirt; what a classy look!!! It’s very trendy as well. You just need to add accessories with that look and let your lips look like fire with new summer lipstick colors. A tiny sparkly matching clutch is what I would wear in the evening with your sparkly heels. A hat won’t hurt either just keep in mind, you will need a solid color hat. If you’re going to dinner or to a club, trust me eyes will roll up and down to check you out.
Now, there is a huge difference between, sparkle and sequins. Sequins may come in any color while sparkle could be gold or silver for the most part, or bronze. Wear sparkly with every color in your closet, deal with sequins as you are trying to match colors just like any other shoes color.
What’s a big NO NO? Simple answer, never match sparkly shoes with sequin patterns. Even if you saw models rocking runways dressed up like that, do not do it! Some designers mix and match up patterns for the purpose of the show, that’s how they keep the runway looking at its best and attract eyes. Our day to day life style is not a runway. As I always say, follow your instinct, create your own style, and be creative and unique. If none of the above is your preference, please share how would you like to wear sparkly shoes.
