I went to Seasick Records in Birmingham to sit and talk to Alabama artist Skoolie Escobar.  We have seen each other in passing around the city trying to figure out when we would have another interview.  It has been one full year since we sat down and in that one year several things have changed in his life.  Skoolie has added a addition to his life with a new daughter, dropped another project titled Until Then and just so happened to get signed by Capitol/Priority.  They say a lot can change in a year and it has been a very good year so far for Skoolie.  The city is pulling for this guy out of Bessemer Alabama but with his vision and knowledge there is no doubt that he will succeed in anything that he does.
